Human Unit

Instructions

These instructions are suggestions designed to help people connect and work together to solve problems.
They are not strict rules. Each Human Unit is encouraged to adapt the process in ways that work best for their group.
The Sleep – Creep – Leap guide is not a strict rule.
It is a suggested approach to help groups gradually move from reflection to action.
Sleep → Creep → Leap follows the natural rhythm of plant life: roots form first, growth happens slowly, then expansion comes fast. This pattern isn’t symbolic fluff — it’s the blueprint.

YEAR 1 — SLEEP
Purpose: Build roots. Establish trust. Prepare the foundation.
During the Sleep year, the group should:
  • Get to know each other and identify everyone's strengths
  • List skills, interests, and hidden talents
  • Vote on one clear problem to solve
  • Create a list of everything needed to solve it
  • Divide that list into roles and responsibilities
  • Form smaller working teams to focus on different parts
  • Identify harmful, manipulative, or sociopathic personalities and remove them
  • Build communication habits: honesty, respect, consistency
Metaphor: Dr. Tye is always weeding baby oak trees since she has a couple in her backyard. A four inch seedling with 4 leaves will have a taproot of eight inches. It is how you grow a mighty oak. That initial grounding into resources is important. YEAR 2 — CREEP Purpose: Test the plan. See what works. Fix what doesn't. During the Creep year, the Unit should:
  • Start executing the plan created in Year 1
  • Experiment, test, and gather results
  • Improve systems and remove weak points
  • Strengthen teamwork
  • Adjust roles based on what people naturally excel at
  • Expand access to resources
  • Stay patient — slow progress now prevents bigger mistakes later
Think of Creep as "gentle forward motion." The work becomes practical. The Unit begins to function like a real machine. YEAR 3 — LEAP Purpose: Execute at full force with a proven plan. During the Leap year, the Unit should:
  • Move into full action with a solid, tested structure
  • Coordinate with other Units worldwide working on the same problem
  • Share data, discoveries, and resources
  • Execute refined solutions efficiently
  • Use collective momentum to accelerate progress
Year 3 is where transformation happens. When Units leap together, their speed and impact multiply. The Core Rule Do not skip a year. Strength comes from process. Sleep builds the base. Creep teaches the truth. Leap delivers the results. This is how you build a Unit that survives, grows, and hands its work to the next generation.
